hongkong was good and different.
so unlocally cold! no snow though.
tonnes of pictures and food.
shopping wasnt thatt fantastic cuz its winter season.
nevertheless, managed to get 3 bottoms & 4 tops :D

second week of holidays has been good so far.
24hours ongoing rain, some work & alot of time with samm & jerry.

we watched Open Season & Night at the Museum.
two totally enjoyable movies.
ben stiller sure knows how to keep you tickled.
today was some arcade & CS source with samm, raja & jerry.
and :D.
my christmas is saved cuz attachment will be on boxing day.
hope i survive through it. idk, but i feel scared.
just scared to move on. maybe i've been too comfortable in school.
playing around as well.
wont see samm along the corridors & also spend that much time with jerry.
bryan adams songs make you lovesick.
but its okay. i still like his songs.

school's out! exams ended today.
1 week for hongkong, the notenough other for loved ones.
attachment @ White (previously known as Rosette) begins on 25th, CHRISTMAS.
zOMG, can you tell me what is LIFE with no CHRISTMAS!
its like all about the food, presents & merriness! & the love definitely.
[note: we're not gettin paid for outlet attachment. = double sadness.]
so anyways,
we played CounterStrike Source for 4 hours straight today.
blawdy addictive. haha. even though i died most of the time cuz i 'chiong' too much.
but i did defuse a bomb (w the help of jerry) & save the world!!
its more fun than original CS cuz the graphics are so much more realistic.
thankgod MPP was do-able. my attempt to study was futile.
thing is, our proj is now not included in our marks.
wtf?!?!?! fine.
so it's been one semester at shatec.
i've learnt alot. seriously.
made many friends, some very close ones to keep.
been through what i thought was already hell.
but i know what's ahead wouldnt be as easy as what sch was.
bless our souls.
i'll definitely miss -

- or playin with burnt onions, oil & water to create fire.
- taking videos of you & your gurlfwen playing with fire;
- taking endless, nonsensical, crazy, bored pixx like purposely stickin chocolate in your teeth, imitating the vivo city ad or stuffing marshmellows in your teeth.
- knowing its okay to be unglam after practical cuz we're cool and tough (haha)
okay am i thinking back too much? but la, its okay. cuz nobody actually reads my blog anyway. except for KINNS haha. :D
mom wants to meet for movie tmr. okay, so i shall have to postpone ikea date with him.

life's okay (which is vague). just off most of the time.
been feeling horrible lately.
samm, dern, vin, jerry & i went to fetch crystal on friday.
got there late so only managed to get a hug from her, but its okay!
still something :D
McD for dinner was-
2 doublecheeseburger meals; one upsized
1 extra doublecheeseburger
20 pc chix mcnuggets
bbq, sweet&sour, curry & chilli sauce
ice lemon tea & coke+salt
:D phweee-yo!!
US potato competition on saturday.
its interesting stayin at the judging room watching people.
walking around the kitchens, watching the competitors sweat it out. (esp junior side)
seeing how a competition goes along.
sasa & i were posted as markers, so our job was pretty slack.
save for running up and down and making friends with the photocopy machine.
bubble tea and egg tarts at clementi.
The Covenant at cine.
today, along with juju & sasa we got our ingredients for P&B proj then headed to sasa's to bake!
oh wait, funny recall-
sasa & i were at the cashier and the uncle came upon our purchase of Rum flavouring.
uncle: this is alcohol you know, can take meh? i thought muslim cannot take alcohol?
sasa: no, i'm not muslim.
me: (O.O)
uncle: (keeps quiet) oh, okay. then what origin are you?
sasa: ohhh, my mother chinese then my father indian.
uncle: (looks uncertain) orh, like that ah.
me: (containing my laughter!!)
baking was alot of fun. just like in school.
the girls just make my day (:
anyways, i'm feeling so fcuked up about MPP proj, mystery basket.. school basically.
stress is already here.
and whats more, i am becoming a less wonderful catholic.
today's homily made me think about my faith.
fr adrian says "what have you done to improve your faith this year?"
my answer is, nothing. which is a very sad case.
and i'm totally drifting from my family.
so i piss my mom off and now she's picking on me.
WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

firstly,
HAPPY 18TH ARA!!

Flushed Away's not a bad movie.
the cute slugs sing well. haha and the songs are nice.
had some mom-time with mom on tuesday.
spent approximately 30 mins on deciding to buy cereals for her making stuff for the school.
didnt buy in the end, good also cuz we'd look zaany with 15 boxes of cereals haha.
got the new milk&berry stars!
yum-some.
yesterday, we made
- Beef Consomme Forestiere
- Baked Rack of Lamb Provencale Crust
- Ratatoulie
- Garlic Cream sauce
boy, was i as good as lost.
how tell me, how?!
practical exam's in less than 2 weeks.
and we've outlet attachment after christmas already.
that practical lasted 5 hours plus plus.
frenching lamb (ooh.) and my consomme was good but it simmered till it evaporated haha.
jurong regional library is nice and cosy.
hokkien mee with daddy and the TeeeeVeeee.
today, we made
- Thousand Island sauce
- Mesclun Salad
- Bolognaise sauce
- Bechamel sauce
- Lasagne :D
the thousand island and bolognaise were good

i thought my parents were out cuz all the lights were off and i cldnt see the hall light from the kitchen cuz i took the nearer lift.
i was telling jerry "eh my parents arent home!!"
and for a moment later he says "no! the light is on! your dad is there!"
i go "oh fuck fuck fuck" (excuse that)

i terribly need to get started with mpp and p&b projs.
really need to bless my soul.
i had a weird dream abuot being kicked out of school cuz my cooking is lousy.
i cried in the dream and it felt freakin' real.
freaks me out BAD.
the stress is building up mentally, gradually, eventually.
the thought of mystery basket is enough to freak me out.
i dont even know what to do for creative mashed potato.
SO SIMPLE! mashed potato!
i do want to be a chef. a well to do chef.

i am 18!
samm and i played with handsome and finished 3/4 of the cheesecake after school.
then had dinner at sushi tei vivo, with his family.
friday was sabila's!
and saturday was jo's!

with ban mian, rojak and excessive mugs of teh-o & teh ping.
then to heeren for our neoprint fixture. haha.
and rush shopping before meeting them.

so friday was, International Chef's Day!! (:
we headed to Sunlove home from Orchard hotel to give food to the patients there.
we did some performance for them as well haha.
Chef Eric Teo was in charge of us, he's the executive chef of orchard hotel and formerly a shatec student himself.
he won an award for sg's best executive chef of the year. how cool is that!
along with another chef, Otto Weibel who's the director of kitchens for Swissotel the stamford & Raffles the plaza.
a few of us got a tour of the kitchens in orchard hotel by mr eric.
its really all over the hotel, behind those doors you'd just walk by.
couldnt stop saying "cool stuff!" haha.
im amazed. inspired. excited.
then in the evening was the family day at siloso beach, sentosa.
great food, great beer, great company.
teeheehee (:
but we got stranded cuz there was no more tram service & we missed the last bus.
so we walked until we spotted the ranger's car and got a lift.
-whew-
and when we got to harbour front, we only managed to get a cab after walking up & down for at least 1/2 hr.
tiring, but a good experience (:
and yesterday was dinner at raja's for deepavali :D
loved the food though it was spicy.
i like (:
more good food & company.
tomorrow school's only for 2 hours or less.
considering mpp never goes on for 2 hours straight.
i've got to start shopping for their presents.
my, turning 18 on thursday already.
would anything change? i have no idea.
